I think that this "timeline" feature can have it's pro and cons. But the acual point is what is the need for something like this. I mean some people on Facebook might not want others see what they posted or commented on. I just don't comprehend the need for this on facebook. Like i have had fights on facebook and i'm certain i don't want people going back and seeing what was said or the subject of the fight. I also believe that adding all these new features to Facebook will make more people deactivate there Facebook, but that's my opinion.

I thought a lot of people would feel like you. I've never felt the need to join facebook etc, email and phone take up enough time to answer and do me fine. Also the security aspects worried me, a lot of bad things have happened to young people, including a murder here in this country.

What worries me is that even if you deactivate your account, does it actually disappear? Can you really delete what you've once put on? Somehow it didn't sound as though you could. Also, once you've sent something to friends can't they pass on to their friends and so on?

Yeah, you do have a point. When you deactivate a Facebook, it does go away. But all you have to do is put in your email and password and it's reactivated. So you can't acually delete your Facebook. I only have a Facebook to stay in touch with my friends.

I tend to keep in touch personally, coffee is infinately nicer that way.

i rarely post status or comment on my Facebook. I just use it to send email to my friends/ see their pictures . i find it cant be private enough for writing diary
