Hey all.
I've heard that most of our arrested comrades has been released, and "order of arrest" (i don't know the right term) is cancelled about us. soon i'll be back in the civilization again.
we were accused of planning an assasination of our party leader, during a meeting in a mostly kurdish populated city. the authroties believe that we were planning it because it would inrease nationalist feelings, before elections. i still can't decide if it's funny or tragic.
last several months was filled with the happiest and the most sorrowful moments of my life... despite all achievements of mine, my belief in God is shattered, ordeal caused by that and recent political events made me depressive, and this depression made me ignore my lover. and she left me few days ago. there's no way back now, hope i'll adjust this life.
with my good wishes...

Take heart Tony, your true love would not leave when you really needed her. You have yet to meet her.
Funny, tragic or...........................true? Is Ukuk Turkish for the Jackal?

Thanks for sympathy, DSW, but i would say: "seems real love ends" rather than "she was not my real love."
that would be funny but alas, ukuk doesn't mean jackal in Turkish (:

"Real loves ends" is intrinsically nonsensical.
DSW is right.

why do you have the notion "real love doesn't end". where's the proof? (:

I have no proof. According this forum's standards, anyway. We'd play the semantics game. The only proof I can offer is very real, very personal, very experiential encounters in my own waking life.

let me play in my strongest field, linguistics (:
in Turkish, there are two words for English "love". one is "sevgi", which is a pure Turkish one, and the other is "aşk", which is a loanword from Arabic.
Sevgi is a feeling you have for your mum, your friends, etc. and aşk is really controversial, it's stronger than the sevgi but it's not as innocent as. when you fall in "aşk", the object you "love" becomes the centre of your world.
The love you have for a special "opposite sex" is often taken as "aşk". and aşk needs sevgi, sevgi may endure without aşk but aşk is a evolved form of sevgi, somehow. And, as i learnt from my recent experiences, "sevgi" lasts forever, or it may last forever, but "aşk" is too "human-like" and it has a life, it is born, grows and dies. this is why i say "real love ends", i had "aşk" for my dear ex-gf, but it has faded. but i still have "sevgi" for her, since she granted me much, and deserves it.
Aşk, involving sexual desire, may die one day. It was a real love the thing that tied us to each other, and my proof is a personal one too: i felt it. it was "aşk". but it died.
