At the risk of being seen as an over fussy site member I am going to return to a topic, I raised before, which still puzzles me.
Why do individuals who joined the Quotations Page Forums, years ago, and have never posted still bother to log in when they come here for a quick look?
I assume these people must have a reason for doing this. I just can't think what it is!

Perhaps they, like me, have their computer set to automatically log on?

I'd be more concerned as to why you worry about it?

I didn't actually realise you could set your computer to "automatically log on". Even if I don't bother logging out that automatically happens when I delete temporary internet files.
And I am not worried-just puzzled and curious as to why so many individuals would bother joining the forum and then proceed to log on (automatically or otherwise) when they have never posted.
Obviously I was under the mistaken impression that the reason for becoming a forum member was to allow one to make, at least, one post.
Best of luck with the Ashes next time!

Cannae stand cricket, 2nd worst game in creation - 2nd only to baseball.

Perhaps those folk log in so they can post, but either find nothing relevant to them or even shyness a factor?

I have to say I do enjoy cricket and I am not English!
On the other topic it really has nothing to do with me, but I do find the large numbers, on this site especially, who join and never post, almost fascinating.
The reasons you give above might explain the lack of posts, from a small number, but I don't think they can account for the lack of action from the very high percentage of members.
I think I need to get out more!
