You are all welcome to come visit me... i'm sure i've posted some pics of my beautiful town, and you all know about Africa, although, please don't be fooled... we are said to have crocodiles guarding our houses, but i don't have a pool, and it's not safe to share a bath with one. so I can't show you that aspect of our country.
Animals a plenty, many cultures, all the worlds climates, diverse people, more than 9 languages, food from everywhere and the world cup

More than one of the places we stayed, it was necessary to lock up well to stop monkeys ratting out the kitchen.

Nah, it's not that bad, you won't be finding any monkeys in the cities. we've only been raided about twice in 6 years... although our next-door neighbour got his laptop 'stolen' and dropped outside because he had a fish tank screen saver!
it's a wonderful place, the vibe is amazing now, never seen so much flags and other paraphernalia, FIFA must be loving our patriotism...
Prices on the other hand are insane!
I do however, get to see a real international soccer game on Friday! Germany vs Serbia... so excited!
We've had a snow the last few days!!! in the Karoo, our semi-desert the ostriches where playing in the snow! those who have me on FB can see some of my pics!
