Its works for some time after some time you will start thinking that he or she is cheating on you.

It can only work if both people truly want it to work and are equally committed to making it work.

From experience, yes, I have had long distance relationships, they've worked for me...

Would not the measure of success be permanence?

Long distance relationship. I guess this will work for as long as the circumstances of both parties allow actual connection. Smileys and caring thoughts for a long time can get you to depression. Nothing beats personal, closer, intimate human touch.

Totally agree with you gumtree. Besides this type of relationship allows each partner room enough to breath and be themselves. Very very ideal but when trust is broken and regained but then busted again, it's guaranteed slow death thereon. Walk away when you can. Go and don't look back. No need to stay longer than what is necessary. Life is short, enjoy it with someone new and deserving. This is my fervent wish for myself.

Please excuse my mumblings :?

Nowadays there a lot of sluts and pimps unfortunately. Those that don't know love and go up to randoms and say will you be my bf/gf? It could work but most long distant relationships aren't guaranteed
