It's only human, once we finally grasp something, it's a trophy, we just can't let go of something we supposedly *earned*...

In my twisted mind, yes, I would sacrifice myself... Mainly depends on how many you'd save, 10 people, not justified, 1000, justified...
Is it a bad thing that my biggest achievement this year is beating Satch Boogie on Guitar Hero World Tour?

Hey, I can have credit, I actually do play guitar/piano/trombone/violin/organ/bass...
Laughter... Didn't I do that when I was ages 5-10?
Why must everyone think that a guy painting his nails black is some ultimate sin?!

Refreshing to hear you play instruments.

I didn't know you paint your nails black.
To go on with the thread,
What do you like to do on a cold, rainy day?

Well... This is me but... I strip down, and run through the tall grass behind my house, feeling the ice cold rain pelt my skin, it's very refreshing...
Is it possible that my girlfriend can recognize my scent, but I don't smell anything?

I think so. There is a theory that your scent is attractive to people of differing genetic make up to yourself. This is designed to attract a partner of disimilar genetic make-up in order to lower the risk of passing on defective recessive genes to your offspring. I hope that makes sense.
What will happen to you yesterday the day after tomorrow?

Uh, I take that to mean tomorrow... I will likely hide in the band room, playing Wii with a few of my friends, while the non-band members are stuck in their boring classes.
Is a Thompson Sub Machine Gun a good investment in these troubled times if you can get the ammunition for virtually free?
