I just read "The Walrus Was Paul" by Gary Patterson. It's such a good book. Recommended reading for any Beatles fan. It'll make you listen to the Beatles songs recorded before and after Paul's death in a new light.

RE-reading for the nth time the "His Dark Materials" trilogy
Oh and by the way, if you're in the mood for something very compelling but slightly strange, I highly HIGHLY recommend a book called "Samedi the Deafness" by Jesse Ball. Think Kafka meets Hitchcock.

I am currently reading Uncle Tom's cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe. The character development is excellent. The narrative is not one i am used to really, it is heterodigetic but still possesses a discreet level of personal involvement with the characters. I am told to anticipate a touching ending.
