Somethin I've been doing a lot lately has been reading a book and right afterwards watching it's movie adaptation while the book is still fresh in my head. I'm just about done with The Memory Keeper's Daughter and I'll be checkin out the movie this weekend on TV. Anybody have any favorites of this kind of pairing?

InFirstPerson, did you happen to catch the movie? I got wrapped up in some family stuff but my DVR got it for me, so I'll be watching it tonight when I get home from work.

Yes I caught it. Some things were changed, as one would expect but nothing bad enough to make me not enjoy the movie :D

I always like to read the book first. Here are few of my favorites:

the lord of the rings
Gone with the wind
Pride and Prejudice
Sense and sensibility
Emma
