What are your favourite individual words?? Sound or meaning...
Mine are: Bete noire - I use this all the time.
For the sound, I love: buttercup, alabaster, trajectory, cocoa and scallywag.
Someone in the newspaper today chose 'Plagent' meaning 'making the noise of waves, breaking or beating'.

possibly majesty, beautiful, lovely, summers eve, winters night, cloudy,
cloudless, September, haven, refuge, tender, passion, autumn, golden, to
name only a few.
