Let us butter up the butterball and stuff it full of stuffing.
We can bake it in the oven as the leaves are lightly falling.
There’s a bottle full of chardonnay that’s chilling in the oven.
A pumpkin pie is cooling and a morning breeze is blowing.
I am dressed in my best hunting clothes and ready to go hunting.
I’ll think about that butterball throughout this autumn morning.
Those two big juicy breasts are so succulent and so tempting.
And those plump, fleshy, drumsticks are delicious to the senses.
I am thankful for all the venison that is stored within our freezer.
I am grateful for all the food that is stored with our cupboard.
But most of all, that butterball, is the best of all my blessings.
