What types of books do you like?
Personally i like fantasy, i don't dislike other types of book i just enjoy getting lost in an alternate world where things that can never happen happen. but hey thats just me..
So...what kind do you like?

I have read just about any type of book there is, the only books I really do not like genreally are True Crime, or Crime Fiction, and Romance.

I enjoy books which are full of deception. Books which make your jaw drop by the time you finish reading the last page. It really doesn’t matter which category it falls under.

I guess I enjoy reading almost everything. I particularly like to read author Nora Roberts, under both her name and her alter-ego J.D. Robb. The only thing I don't like to read from her, are this extra-sweet, syropy romances where all women are gorgeous and all men are handsome....In fact, her newest book, High Noon hits the stands this coming Tuesday, July 10th. I hope to get it the same day!

^_^ I love fantasy with a dash of romance and conspiracy along with a bit of historical fiction.

Actually there is this one book I read a little bit ago called the Book Theif by Markus Zusak, it is set in Nazi germany about this little girl who was adopted by these two people before and during WW2. by the end of it I was crying. it was so sad and amazingly written. It cut off everything perfectly and has given me a new outlook. on what i'll leave to you when you read it. ALL of it.

I absolutely love fantasy! J.R.R. Tolkien's books are very well written, as well as C.S. Lewis's.

I am confused by your post, did you not just say you detested fiction? But would not romance be considered fiction?

I tend to read a lot of classics. I absolutely love historical fiction, though.

I have somewhat revently started reading the Classics and most of them I have found to be quite enjoyable thus far.

I also have a foundness for Victorian Lit.

I like some classics like Charles Dickens, Edgar Allem Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle; and poets such as William Wordsworth, Alfred Lord Tennyson, and Robert Burns (because I have Scottish ancestry ).

I like fantasy too, but i also like realistic fiction. If you like fantasy, you should deffinately read Harry Potter series and Twilight series. They are Terrific!

Humaniterrian issues - Philosophical views - Psychological depth - romantic backgrounds - cultural variations - realism for sure and mostly into a self-confident piece of art.
