October is happening! My son and I will be travelling to the Ouchita Mountains in western Arkansas for a week of camping and big game hunting. We plan to depart on Friday October, 17th and camp near Magazine Mountain. We will be hunting for black bear, deer and wild turkey with muzzle-loading/black powder muskets. I plan to load my Honda ATV and do some riding in the high country.

My son Andrew was recently awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. He has been working for Tennengery through the summer but is presently unemployed. Fortunately he is drawing unemployement compensation. He will be attending college after the first of the year. This will be our first big game hunting tour in the state of Arkansas.
