You collection as sadly lacking quotations from Joyce. Ironic seeing as he is one figure who really changed literature, and wrote a few masterpieces along the way.

James Joyce wasn't even listed as an author over on Quoteland. I took care of that and added some quotes. Check it out at
http://quoteland.com/author.asp?AUTHOR_ID=1834

"James Joyce is right about history being a nightmare-- but it may be that nightmare from which no one can awaken. People are trapped in history and history in trapped in them."
~ James Baldwin
Nothing but old fags and cabbage-stumps of quotations from the Bible and the rest, stewed in the juice of deliberate, journalistic dirty-mindedness.
~ D. H. Lawrence (about James Joyce, 1928)

Most-quoted twentieth-century author: James Joyce

Really? Didn't know that....

I'm reading The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man now, and i must say that I am really impressed with Joyce's prose and the way he expresses himself.
