Is peace a weapon readily available in our heart? Or is peace a state of mind to be pursued? Or is peace a personal character to be cultivated?

Peace is the mixture of all came above. Peace is a state of relaxation and stability. Peace is what makes balance to our annoying and unpleasant situations interfering our life. If only we understand how to grab peace into our life... everything would be much easier and flexiable.
"Peace is the one condition of survival in this nuclear age."
--Adlai E. Stevenson

First keep the peace within yourself, then you can also bring peace to others.
~Thomas a Kempis (1380 - 1471), 1420~
If you want to make peace, you don't talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.
~Moshe Dayan (1915 - 1981)~
Peace has never come from dropping bombs. Real peace comes from enlightenment and educating people to behave more in a divine manner.
~Carlos Santana, Associated Press interview, September 1, 2004~

peace is the greatest lie told by cowards. i believe true peace can only be brought by force, by war.if there are differences between people, peace is only a good dream.Only way to bring peace, we must detroy differences, and make our ideas ruling over theirs...

You don't even know what I understand under the word "peace", how dare you call me a coward for believing what I do, you are pathetic. There is no such thing as a peacefull world, I agree, but mental peace does exist.

Peace only comes to you when you let it.

Hi, professor logic. How come you quote me and yet say nothing about it? Peace comes when one is in harmony, both spiritually and socially. This is what I have come to understood in the past days. Peace is not something cowardly or rosily fantastical, or a piteous entreaty. It is earned as a prize by those who work hard and think hard.
what do you think of it?

Peace is not a lie. People who want peace are not cowards. They are often those who are hurt and insulted and yet still stand tall and dignified, extending a peaceful hand to their enemies.
Sometimes I also feel to the bone that peace is secured only by means of force. It is true that without strength and independence, one or one country may lag behind and be taken advantage of. But strength is not all about force or violence. We need to stand united and faithful to our country. But differences are also welcome and necesssary for us to build up the strength of our collectivity. We need not to remove all differences to remain peaceful. We need not rule others in mind to stay peaceful.
We just need strength, both referring to one's will power and to the comprehensive strength of one's country. And force is one of all the necessary elements, but not all.
