Can you post your URL here so I can take a look at it? Or paste your HTML code into a message?

Hmmm, you have the tags for the quote within <pre> tags which prevents them from working. I have no idea why those would be there. Word really isn't the best choice for developing Web content.

If you're writing your own html, use a plain text editor like Wordpad or Notepad. mgm's right; Word has a lot of automatic functions that will interfere with the code even if you've written perfectly correct html.

You probably have any programs you need if you have Word (should come with Notepad or Wordpad). Check out this Web site -- it's been a really good one for me in conducting HTML/Web page tutorials:

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

You can also use various Web-page tools, like Yahoo's PageBuilder in Geocities.com, but learning the basics is easy and fun, and useful when the programs like PageBuilder won't do what you want them to.

I visited your site, and it looks like you did a pretty good job on your own--you definitely don't need much help. By the way, I've always heard Perth is one of the most beautiful places on the planet with excellent quality of life. Is that true?

It looks like it's working now! Does it work for you?
