Oh my god I hated HATED hated Gulliver's Travels...

(I also find Jane Austin incredibly boring....oh! and wuthering heights)

i had trouble making it through jane eyre. after i was done with it i kind of liked it, but i guess i can call it the worst book i've ever read.

i don't really like saying that though...

I would have to say another book which I found to be rather boring is Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck, I do not care for him overall as an author, he will take like 5 pages to describe the same field

Well, I think Shakespeare is overrated. Though I like him, I find it hard to put up with reading him too often.

I think Greg Bear's "Heads" was utter boring. And Dorothy Simpson's "Six Feet Under" was just ridiculously typical.

I really dislike Arthur C. Clarke's "Space Odyssey" series. Modern BBC Doctor Who novels I normally dislike, for it seems too different from the original series. Too adult-like and swearing in Doctor Who is an immediate hate.

I have read one Stephen Baxter novel and it put me off him. It's called "Timelike Infity". The emotion did not fit in well with the overused scientific explanations. It did not work. And was not a pleasure to read, except in emotional scenes between father and son. Maybe I will read another Baxter soon.

William Shakespeare has nice works but, he's not that great. I must also criticize Ernest Hemingway, even though my favorite book was written by him, he's not that great either.

But, the worst book I've ever read was Witch Child by Celia Rees.
The other one is La Charca by Manuel Zeno Gandía.

I hate both equally.

Well, you can find that one author writes a fantastic book and the rest just dull and insignificant. I haven't read any of those books, so I'll know to avoid them if I do see them.

not a fan of shakespeare. loved of men and mice. liked great expectations. my most boring book has to be, and someone will be mad because of this, the scarlet letter.
i have another boring, badly written book, but i would rather skip the lectures today thank you all very much.

Wow Shakespeare is really taking a beating here, though it probly comes to know surprise and goes without saying I myself am something of a Shakespeare plan, even if Romeo and Julliet are one of my least faveorite of his works. Othello might be among my faveorite of his.

Even though I know this is not a book I shall say that I am not all that found of the works of Keats, to me they all sound the same, with the execptipon of a couple poems that I do like, most his work I cannot get through.

n-e-wayz the most boring book I ever read (nd I didn't acctually read it all through) is Madame Bouvary for Gustaf Flobeire (sp.?) we have to read it for skool bt it's just sooooo freakin' boring that I couldn't finish it!!
