my name is sharee.
i view names as no more than a "tag" that identifys us as a being.
in the system, we are a number...a nine digit number used to keep track of everywhere we go and everything we do.
a name is more personal. it makes us feel important, like we mean something in the great scheme of things. more than a dime in the dozen.
and we, as beings, are particular about our name.
how it is spelt, how it is pronounced,
Sh(a)ree. "It's all about phonetics."
i myself am guilty of being particular about how my name is spelt and pronounced.
"it's sharee...not shAree...the 'a' is short."
like i am more than a number, a significant being amongst others.
True? good question.
No. good answer.
What else is there to be said?
I'm 17.
another rebelious youth, poluting this "great" world with my notions of defiance.
my ideas.
unknown, not wanted.
Adults today don't want to hear what we (the youth ) have to say. they feel we are no more than ignorance itself.
we dont know.
we dont listen.
we dont care.
If they looked past our peircings, tattoos and mohawks, they come to realize thatt we do those things for a reason.
to make a point.
to express our feelings and ideas about society today.
Do most adults even know what a mohawk origonally stood for?
do they care?
our multi-colored hair, torn-up clothing and loud mouths are no more than disrespect...in their eyes.
what does all of this mean?
what am i saying?
it's no more than an introduction. an intro to my thought process at this point in time.
i just wanted to say hi.
until next time-
sharee

Your introduction? profound. & somehow reminds me of someone.
You might get more of a response in the fluff forum if you want to introduce yourself again hehe.
