Quotations and Literature Forum

If one uses the topic "Wisdom" for a search, page 2 brings up a quote by, as I recall, Horace, which has the unfortunate phrasing: "...him who..".
Should, of course, be " ...he who...". Best --GJI69

Considering that the quotation originated around 8 BC and was translated from the original Roman at some point, I'm not sure "him who" is wrong.

I checked Bartlett's and our wording matches theirs, so I'm sticking with it - we can't be responsible for the gramatical errors of ancient Romans.
