Why is there something rather than nothing?

There has to be something, if there was nothing there would be no me, no you (Quite a loss) and no anything.

I wonder about the somethings we value and those we don't.

My friend, please note that everything has a purpose and the purpose, potential and cause behind everything reveals the reason why the Creator brought things into existence and the lesson that was to be learned. One can only fathom or understand the intent and thought behind things by looking at its purpose which shows why it was created. God was always there so therefore there was always something that created all things, remember the Creator is eternal which means something without beginning and without end. Oh! One more thing, if there was nothing then you could not have asked this question because a question is something and it has a definition, by now i know you understand the point i am making...

I believe in the Big Bang Theory, but I wonder how the fuse got lit to start it, and by what, or who?

I think the Big Bang was caused by the Time Lords when they hid Gallifrey...................

This is where the Creator comes in the light the fuse, the universe was made up of light, every subatomic particle came off of the light which was energy, that's what Einstein discovered and meant when he said E=MC^2 proving the relationship between light, matter and time and showing it's origin. I believe in the big bang theory also because it only explains the order and manner in which God created the universe. The big bang theory does not disprove God because it was originally proposed by a Belgian priest named Monseigneur Georges Henri Joseph Édouard Lemaître, who was also a astronomer and scientist. Furthermore, the big bang gives us a clear view to help enlighten our imagination on how the universe started as a seed, small as a grain of sand and expanded, unfolded and grew into what it is today. Hope you understand where i'm coming from...
