Where a calculator on the ENIAC is equpped with 18,000 vaccuum tubes and weighs 30 tons, computers in
the future may have only 1,000 vaccuum tubes and perhaps weigh 1.5 tons.
unknown, Popular Mechanics, March 1949

Did you forget to do a spellcheck?

By the way, in my youth I visited SEAC, the Bureau of Standards computer in Washington, and it was awesome--a huge room full of racks and racks of glowing vacuum tubes.

Thanks, I fixed it.

As a professional writer I've learned long ago not to trust the results of spellchecks, but one might have helped there.
