Quotations and Literature Forum

Just my two cents:

I thought this was a quote site? It is turning into a philosophical chat room and I'm certain that is not what the site originator intended it to be. There are several newsgroups available to discuss your ideas. It seems that the intent of this site has been lost somewhere.

Yes this site is supposed to be a quote site, but I think that the person who created this site also wnated it to be an intelligent site. I think that just as long as people are talking about intelligent things that it is what he wantede. I'm not sure so don't quote me on anything. And there is one particular forum for quotes. If the site creater wanted to have people only talk about the quotes on the site, I don't think that he/she would've made all the other forums.

I agree, things are getting a bit silly here.

All of the philosophical debates that aren't actively talking about quotations or literature are going to be moved into the Fluff Forum. I'll try to keep a closer eye on the forums and enforce this policy.
