Christmas is only 8 days away. If anyone wants to discuss there Christmas wishes or share their gift list then I want to offer encouragement. I asked Sandy to bring me a new tent and a small camping lantern.

We will be entertaining guest at Camp Juniper this evening. I have invited all my rowdy friends over to eat Vension/Brunswick Stew and cornbread. Seagrams 7 & Seven Up will be the house drink. Happy hour starts at 6:00 p.m.

Christmas is happening here at Camp Juniper. Since the Queen has to work on X-mas day we are doing it today. I got a new tee pee. It is a Eureka Timberline 4. I also got a small Coleman backpacking lantern and assorted goodies. I put a 9-pound butterball in the smoker at 9:30 a.m. We are having country ham & eggletts for breakfast. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.

The sky is gray and the ground is damp. I am fixing to kindle a fire in the fireplace then pour a glass of Brandy. The conclusion of the Jolly Mistletoe Hunt will be posted tonight.

I guess I'll get to read the book when she gets through with it.

We are fixing to go to Jackson to watch The Two Towers. I will be celebrating New Years Day on Sunday, !2-29-02. It looks like I will be getting a new left hip for 2003. I have worked in Jackson since 1981 but have never spent a night of my life in town. It looks like my first full night in Jackson will be spent in the hospital.

Just call me Action Jackson. I am back from my luxury tour of the Jackson Hospital. (I am glad that I waited until after Christmas to get this done.) The Queen brought me back to Camp Juniper on the evening of 1-3-03. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Last night I slept 10 hours then got up to walk around the house with the aid of a walker. After my coffee/internet hour I went back to bed and slept until 9:30 a.m. The sun is shinning and it is nice to be out of the hospital. I am still in an uncomfortable way but that is an oxymoron. I am laid up in luxury but miserable too.
