I will admit that I am not satisfied right now. If I were to die, here, at this computer, right now, I could not look back on my life and say that I am satisfied with how I lived it. There is still a few things that need to happen, that I need to accomplish or see or experience before I will be satisfied. But I know that once I accomplish those few goals i'll be satisfied and will be able to die, and look back and smile with content.

I think its dependant on our mood. Sometimes I feel what ive accomplished in life is exceptional, and then just as easily down the track I feel about as useful as an inflatable dartboard. What I've done hasnt changed, just what I feel.
Memory must be dependant on emotion then? I cant seem to think of a memory that doesnt have emotion attached to it. But mabye i'm just trying to prove my own point.

I definately agree that our mood plays a big part in us being satisfied or not!!

Till date the life i have lived i am not satisfied .I think there is a "lot" of scope for improvement in the way i do things more then the way things happen around in general.so i am discontent with myself and less with anything else outside.
So if a positive answer is sought it is a humble request to the moderator of the room that this post shall never be deleted on the contrary shall be preserved

Hi JAS...
How are you doing... Well we as human beings are never satisfied with life and the offerings... Scope for improvment is possible in every aspect of live and it is upto us, it is We who has to put in that Extra effort to change... We might be thinking that we are already giving the Extra Effort but the reality is that we are not... the reason is that we are not focused.. I'm not advicing you r anyone, but this is what I feel as A human we miss out and can never be satisfied, any goal acheived or any haapiness is the satisfaction that we are missing...
Regards
Ishrat

Nemesis,

Realization brings about a feeling of accomlishment, not knowing something or understanding it. We can learn how to drive a car by reading books and taking tests, we may understand it. It is when we get in the car to drive it that we realize what its truly like, and put are knowledge to use. So it is the realization of driving that brings are accomplishment. We may know that we have to learn certain lessons in life, but until we act upon them and come to the realization of what we have learned, then we can truly say that we have accomlished something.
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes."
