This is a wonderful site! very recreative and interesting. Now I'd like you to read this quotation.
Nature as a Guide
"Nature is the guide of all those that live on this Earth, nevertheless that guide has gradually been destroyed, leaving you, the children of this Earth, with the mission to find, with your own Heart and Wisdom, the way to happiness," Master Xciam.

That reminds me of the transcendentalist point of view...in a way.

I would say that its being destroyed at a rapid pace.
Selfishness will be the cause of the following generation’s miserable lifestyle.

Agreed, but if you think about it. Nature will never be 'destroyed' persay, we will always remember the beautifull forests won't we?

nope. everyone is so selfish in thinking that it is. What about our descendants? Sure, there'll be pictures, and books that describe them, but they won't have trees to sit under, or see. They won't be able to experience it for themselves. (If all trees cease to exist, or nature itself.) And in a way, nature is that thing which gives us life. If we didn't have the trees our atmoshpere would be far different. Perhaps we wouldn't even exist, without.

u r correct. When the Asian Tsunami occured everyone was cursing the sea; no one really thought abt how badly we have treated our oceans - we have been dumping all kinds of waste into them frm time immemorial. we using huge trawlers to catch all kinds of fish, we dont care abt the underwater world. The Tsunami is jus a effect, the cause of which is human action. we need to take care to leave to our next generation what we r enjoying today....

No. This would assume the sea was taking revenge. It was caused by an Earthquake earthquakes are fairly common and were more common before we started polluting the world. We may be having some bad effects like global warming but here there isn't a link.

Perhaps Nature is taking its revenge in a way. We'd deserve everything we've got coming to us. At any rate..... And think not of just the people. All of the animals, too, need trees to survive. Birds, squirrels, etc.

Maybe if we want to have "our" Nature for longer, we could not only pray, but to try to keep it safe of every action that could damage it more, such us our bad thoughts that being energy also can contribute to the negative energy that sorrounds us and destroy the positive part.
I hope I've explained myself!
