If you think each person is described by their sign, then they would share common traits.
Guess what my sign is, by the traits I have shown through these posts.

I agree that you could, maybe, sometimes define people into groups, but not based on when they were born.
Phix, if you find the book, could you do it from the book for someone else.

What would you have in mind?

Why should the relative positions of the starts when I was born have any impact on me. The fact that the statements look fairly true is because most of the ideas work most of the time.
A study was done people wern't told the dates but were given a set of statements about them and asked to pick which best fit them. The perecentage that chose one at all was less than 10 and the number of theese correct was no better than a randomn guess. However when shown to a diffrent sample with the dates shown and asked if it best suited them 95% of the people invovled said it did.
I think that life is complicated enough without inventing more daft things.
Let us all try to reduce absurdity, error and superstition.

Well, when someone was born isnt exactly a common influence on people.
I dont like to classify people, as it leads to expectations and judgement (more quickly, that is).

I can't agree. I have evidence to show that there are similar behavior traits between people who share a zodiac sign. I suspect that it has something to do with brain chemistry or how they process information.

Behavior evidence. Do this experiment. Try and find out the sign of everyone you know, ( Within reason of course ) TV personalities etc. As many people as possible. If you do this you will recognize common interest and patterns between zodiac signs.

We have had this before Phix. If I go about it that way there are bound to be some common features simply because of the laws of chance. Similarly if I split everyone into groups depending on a dice roll I will find some common ground that most share.

There are different things that influence behavior. Some people play a role that can be influenced by group affiliation but this is not their deep motivation. Understading their essence will reveal what truly motivates them and their true nature. The zodiac can assist with that.
