I am not an astrologer, I only have a book on it. I can guess but it wont be based on anything but my instincts. Then when I am wrong you are going to say Zodiac signs are not reliable.

My birthday is a couple days shy of the borderline between the two, and that is why I ask about the traits of Pisces. Is there a such thing as a slight merge in this case?

Why is the particular day important? I thought that Zodiac signs were based upon the sun in 30 or so day increments.

Yes you are right but my book is specific. It breaks the month up into three parts to give a more accurate reading. Actually in the back of the book there is a chart which I can use to zero in by the exact hour but, I don't really know how to do that.

Phix did you know that with all the Stars moving around and stuff we are no longer born under the star sign of the zodiac meant to be our star sign.

Are you talking about stellar drift caused by galactic expansion, or the inaccuracy in determining a star's true location due to the time for the light to travel to the observer?

did you know that it probably doesn't matter? This zodiac thing has got something to do with brain chemistry at time of birth. It's about the predisposition of a person that remains as a part of their basic nature throughout life. Again, I see no value in daily horoscopes, just the zodiac signs.

Then why do we get sudden changes in character as we cross star sign dates. (According to the zodiac of course).

Do you mean between people or within the same person?

Between do diffrent people one born just before a star sign change the other just after. If it is purley brain chemicals then the change should be negligable.

People on the cusp share traits from both signs.

This is could be true however if there is to be any biological effect then it would have to be gradual change over the year with only noticable diffrences if people are born around 6 months apart.
