No, I don't think you're a joke. I just think many people are finding it hard to follow yet another belief system that you have introduced.

Oh... Could be. I enjoy many of the discussions though.

Hello, newbies. Actually, I'm a newbie myself.
I think Phix just likes to hear himself type. Either that, he likes to try and impress people with many big words and long paragraphs, when simple words would suffice. Come on, sigisfried....it's fun to argue with people. If they have anything worth saying, that is.....

Hi! I'm new here too. I was looking for a place to find some quotations, and I happened upon this site. I have to admit that I'm very pleased. The "discussions" (or whatever term you choose) are at the very least entertaining, if they don't make you stop and think. To think, all I was looking for was a place to find things other people have said...
I like to have discussions, or even argue. I hope no one takes offense at anything I may post, and if you do, feel free to tell me so, either publicly or in a pm. I just feel that it's usually pretty difficult to offend me, and I sometimes mistakenly assume the same of others. Toodles!

Don't worry about causing offense too much.

A friend of mine referred me to quotationspage.com, and I was browsing around and found the forum. After being here five minutes, I realized that I had stumbled into a haven for intellectual hyperactivity, if you will. I was struck as much by the breadth of the types of conversations as by the depth of each response. I'm glad I found this place. I feel a little like a child who has wandered into a church or other grand building with amazing architecture and beautiful decoration. Slightly awestruck, to say the least.
I plan on becoming a regular.
Thank you guys for existing.
