I am really quite optimistic about the end of the world.

If you had to make a statement about the end of the world then what would that statement say?

Verse one

I see the wind raising, high above the kings.
There is blood in the air, the devil has wings.
Fortune is not yours, 180 days day from now.
War comes unexpected, from men of the low.

Verse Two

And then the earth cracked open
And out poured blood on all nations
And the sky turned gray
And the moon was red
And out of the sea came spears
And killed many without guilt
And no one knew the earth had been darkened
And all ran to hide in vain
And it was man who killed himself
And it was the lamb who saved

Verse Three

Then I saw all who had lived travel to the great place
And there stood and man to whom all bowed
But the carnages had only begun
And war swept the earth like a plaque

Well the world coming to an end.I dont think I'll have time to quote or find one.I'll just add to the above;
I wish I get a few more minutes to live,
So i could enjoy being alive foe once.

Nothing floats my boat like a day on the river with a pretty woman to keep me company. There is the sensation of motion. There is the warmth of a the summer sun on my muscled shoulders. I feel the soft breeze blowing through my hair. There are maple trees and willow leaves. A picnic lunch on the shoals of the river? Cool rivers on hot days offer a deliverance from the prosaic moods of summer.

No statement, really.
If anything, just a vague kind of "it figures" feeling.
I've always been aware that it's not a matter of if, but rather, when.
But since it is inevitable that the Great Cosmic Broom finally sweeps into our little corner of the galaxy, I might as well be optimistic, I suppose.
I'll work on that.
