I guess it all depends on how any dog is trained and treated as to how he behaves. Unfortunately, pitbulls have been used as a "status" dog by some very nasty types and trained to be vicious so they do have abad reputation.

Welllllll, what about the evidence? When we have so many documented cases of attacks by these artificially bred things, how can it be a prejudice?

Bred to fight, too few generations ago to claim to have bred it out. The last artificially bred dog, young Louis' was put together for police and security/defence force work. He bred in speed, strength, courage and tractability with intelligence.

Your thingo was bred with strength and a lack of intelligence, making it easy for instinct to take over.

HI all! i'm back, after some coaching

i have to go with the argument of dogs feeling and being sensitive, I've just gotten my heart broken and my newly adopted pavement special mutt doggy, who was obviously abused and mistreated in her previous life has been following me around every minute... she normally shies away from everyone and anyone, but she now puts her head on my lap and can't seen to get enough of me... maybe it's because she knows what pain is?

Hey GT! nice to be back

my life... haha, that needs a whole different thread but i don't wanna bore. had a lot of ups and downs lately, but i plan on pulling myself together soon...
