I had to look this up in the dictionary -- one more word to my vocabulary.

My musical director can't read music all that well, or play music all that well, let alone teach it to a bunch of teenagers who can't sing all that well. She can't control the class, either. Same with the Ladies Show Choir director and the ladies that I accompany. I've sort of gotten to the point where I think I'd be able to do their jobs better than they could and I find myself stagnate in my education in this regard. Is this the wrong way to be thinking?

I suppose I do what I can. But it's not like I can just call her out in front of everyone. There's no real easy way to go about correcting people. The least she could do is admit her mistake. Or correct it for the sake of the choir. Pride is a nasty, nasty thing.
