Please discuss briefly your thoughts on a particular movie scene that you think moved you? Thanks.

In the Deer Hunter when the guy who was playing russian roulette shot himself in the head. That whole movie actually was phenominal.

from Sweeney Todd...The final scene...He goes mad when he realizes that he killed his own wife.little boy toby advances, with a razor in his hand,to kill sweeney, sweeney does nothing to prevent him, except, raises his head and makes it easy to cut his throat...
As said in Ballad of Sweeney Todd
"To seek revenge may lead to hell..."
and his anger, madness, brought his own catastrophe...

I actually love What Dreams May Come..the scene that moved me the most was when he was able to find his wife in hell, their conversation, his attempt at making her remember the good memories they had...it was priceless. Their love was almost tangible from the screen.

Damn it, I still haven't seen Deer Hunter. We better put some spoiler alerts.
A moving scene? I get misty at the end of A River Runs Through It.
Long ago, when I was a young man, my father said to me, "Norman, you like to write stories." And I said "Yes, I do." Then he said, "Someday, when you're ready you might tell our family story. Only then will you understand what happened and why."

I loved the part in Deviance when the soldier tried taking command of the Jewish rebellion camp and Daniel Craig shot him without much of a thought. It sent a chill up my spine.

Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. The movie had a terrific ensemble cast and many parts were very moving particularly the end scene.
The beginning scenes of Up were very poignant. Not what I expected from a Pixar animated movie.

Agreed, I was very surprised at that scene...
