Tommy,
I don't think that you were meant to attend uni.

A hitman sounds more glamorous. Plus, before you dispatch your targets, you can read them a prayer. Another notch up the coolness scale.

I don't see why he can't be both.

If you want to be a priest you'll need a degree. If you want to be a ratbag evangelist preacher all you'll need is a loud voice and a good measure of fake sincerity.

What about monks, do monks need degrees?

Originally I was thinking catholic monks, but Buddhist monks are so much cooler; they can use kung-fu.

You pillock, Buddhists are the ultimate pacifists. You're talking about Shaolin. Anyway, where is the attraction in these minor martial arts?

What do you mean minor? On the history channel I once saw an eastern monk have a bat broken across his back and he didn't even flinch.

We would probably consider him for a novice.

Speaking of martial arts, nothing beats Krav Maga. Not so much a martial art, rather a killing technique. Something every would-be assassin-monk should consider mastering.
It aims for vulnerable body parts, is quick, brutal and effective against multiple opponents in real-life situations.
Aikido, kung-fu and the like are for sissies.
