Or you take the alternate view to time travel and it doesn't matter what you do because whatever it is you would have already done it.

Some theorize that altering time would not destroy alter our dimension but simply create another one. Basically the same thing though.

I'd bring a submachine-gun with lots of ammo. Don't ask.

The American plan Che? Throw in enough ordanance and you'll have to hit something? Seek not the enemy behind the tree, wipe out the trees?

Oh DS, haven't you heard?
Us Americans are too important to aim. We have other things we need to be doing, so we need the quicker route of the machine gun.

Hey, I've been shooting rifles since I was six. I prefer the one shot, one kill approach.
HOWEVER, for the purposes of my operation, I would need to mow down a certain group of people quickly before they can get close enough to punch me full of holes or jam a club up my arse.
I COULD find a hidey-hole and pick them off one by one, but then again, I'm not a professional soldier, so I'd muck it up almost without doubt.
I'm talking about executing the first group of people who decided to put a fence around a piece of land and call it property in the sense that if other people trespassed, they'd punch them full of holes or jam a club up their arse. You know, some preemptive action (now THAT's an American concept ) before it catches on and becomes fashionable.
Voila. Instant communism.

Dear fellow and amateur vengeance seeker, if you pick them off one by one, with a nice interval between shots, as they slowly die off you also terrorise the others. As a handy side effect you prolong your pleasure.
Mind you it occurs to me that you will need a trip to Cuba or similar to contact a voodoo witch doctor and ressurect your targets as zombies, I'll give you 1010/1 they're already dead! Incidentally, with high rates of fire in automatic weapons, unless you get a fair bit of practice in you'll expend your magazine VERY quickly and likely only hit a couple of the group anyway.
Alternately you could:
Find something dead and introduce some of it's fluids to their water supply.
Mix, in equal parts, R3 refrigerant and LPG. Burn the resultant mix and the fumes approximate mustard gas quite nicely.
2 pieces of wire and a 50 cent mousetrap make a great detonator.
A cigarette and an old fashioned matchbook make a reliable timer.
Hit and run in the dark with edged weapons (See 'Last of the Mohicans') can both eliminate and demoralise.
Non fatal, but bloody funny, spirits of salts on car or motorbike seats.
If dependant on a fixed water source, very little diesel fuel creates a lot of contamination.
Faeces and sharp objects are a bit of a giggle.
Creating insanity in ones enemy is FUN. Change the clock, a little, each time they leave a room or remove, and later replace, bits and pieces.

Quote: Mind you it occurs to me that you will need a trip to Cuba or similar to contact a voodoo witch doctor and ressurect your targets as zombies, I'll give you 1010/1 they're already dead Hence the use of a time travel machine, where I kill them before they manage to pioneer the concept of private property. Incidentally, are you up for hire? Quote: Find something dead and introduce some of it's fluids to their water supply.

A cigarette and an old fashioned matchbook make a reliable timer. Nah, I'm not one for sneaky, underhanded techniques... Though when I think about it, there's nothing honorable about using an assault rifle against foes armed with rocks and sharp sticks. Quote: Hit and run in the dark with edged weapons (See 'Last of the Mohicans') can both eliminate and demoralise.
It takes a bit more stomach to stab or cut someone... A bit too up close and personal for my taste.
In conclusion, I think your original suggestion of sniping the First landowners from a camouflaged position would work best.
Question: Are silencers all they're cracked up to be?
No. This thread is not disturbing in the least.

Available, and as a, whatever, youqualify for the 'Discount deaths' program.
Silencers are great but they only work on subsonic rounds.
