My good buddies are, but I'm not. TSO is coming to town on the 12th. I'll be staying home that evening.

Phew, I'm back after my long break, but I'm not sure how long for... My grades are a bit... Subpar, to say the least, and I've taken up reading everything in sight again, so I've been very busy. Grades for me come in soon, and I'm very afraid, I ended up missing some projects before the end of the grading period, so this worries me.

So how are the others? Did anyone else have a sucky Thanksgiving like me? I ended up not getting to see my father's side of the family, work issues, and just a crappy break overall...

Ok, again, this specific thread is my duty to keep alive... Um... Well, I'm kinda in some deep waters now, I'm having to almost be constantly under EEG recording, there's no sign of anything except brain cancer, though we're hoping it's just an odd formatting of nerves in my wiring, but to sum it up, seizures have been cursed upon me recently. I've also met my abusive side in an incident that I will never forget...

On a lighter note, I have a concert tonight w/ the band, this should be interesting, we've had the music for 10 classes, and timed, have played it a total of 23 times rounded per song, for about 9 hours total. Pray there are no rogue sqeaks from Woodwinds...

I'm a trombone, last chair technically, but we all swap seats almost every time we do a seating competition, we're about equal in talent. It was just a small Christmas concert, we haven't had much time to prepare, our football team made it to state, so our season extended way too long for us.

I did try out for our District Band Saturday, and I failed horribly. 18th runner up of 23 runners up. The music was in 6/8 time, and had 32nd notes at certain points, it was wretched. They also made us play horrid scales, for anyone that plays a bass cleft instrument they were A and GFlat, 2 octaves for both. Either way, looks like I won't get in there.

Life's been great otherwise. Seizures have gotten calmer, and as the holiday season approaches, my luck has seemed to increase, I've found $120 USD in total just lying around through this month, not including my paycheck.

Thinking about maybe seeing It's Complicated with my ex, that should be
an intersting trip.
