How do you know if a guy is interested in you as more than a friend or just a friend?

Advice from a guy: Not to sound chauvinist, but I'm interested in all my female friends that are <7. on the hotness scale.

Most guys are different... and I'm speaking based on what I see with my friends. Some will tell you, some will play games, some will act cool, some will let you come to him first, etc.

Oh, wow. I either have very low expectations or terrible math skills. I'll let you decide.

wow, that is rather chauvinist... assuming it's >7... but i'll let it slide... depends what a >7 is to you, different expectations and all...

so how do you measure? what is a 7 or an 8 for that matter?

A girl doesn't have to be Megan Fox in order for me to find her attractive, I just like a girl that takes care of herself. But more on your problem: I don't know if it's the best idea to go dating your friends, because that's never seemed to work for me. Whenever I've stopped dating a girl that was my friend, we also stopped hanging out.
