Okay, Sophie's World is one of my all time favorite books. You have no idea. Basically all it is is a history of philosophy in story form. I know that it can be confusing because some the philosophic ideas are way out there. I think (and I can't really be sure) that the author just wants people to get more interested in philosophy.
