i don't know if i can remember all of the styles out here, but i can try.
We have a style called a Limrick (feel free to correct any spelling along the way) It's short, only a few lines, has a 1,2,1,2 ect. rhyming pattern, and is usually used to describe something funny, an event or object. We have what my middle school teacher named "Free verse" It's poetry written with no real rhyming pattern, any rhymes tend to occure by accident, it is usually longer, and written in stanzas. Then there is prose, from what i remember it is usually written in paragraph form, but don't trust me on that. If anyone else remembers the ones i forgot, go ahead.
