The light of day slowly decays
The watchers go to sleep
The only thing that here remains
Are those who feed upon the meek

Once the night has clawed itself
Into the sinful human dreams
The world turns dark, cold and bitter
And hell releases demon screams

In the mist dark shadows lurk
The creeping death no one can hear
For human blood and flesh they lust
And Man shall face his biggest fear

No light tonight the dark moon shines
No breeze is blowing in the park
Cold clouds to earth slowly descend
The world is turning very dark

The humans, in their sleeps they smile
The knights, the soldiers, and the kings
They dream of life and happiness
While demons slowly spread their wings

The legions of the dark have gathered
For now a banquet they shall find
The loudest scream from them arises:
“Pain and death to all mankind!”
