I have been reading Tennyson lately and I would recomend some of his,

The Lady of Shallot

Mariana

In Memoriam
(it is really long, might just want to look at parts of it)

Tithonus

Oenone

I looked it up and found that a woman named Loreena McKennitt had sung it.

:) Woodsman, Spare That Tree!, Lucy, The Lady of Shalott,
Gather Ye Rose Buds, Trees, I Have A Rendezvous With Death,
The Childrens' Hour, Crossing the Bar, The Wreck of the Hesperus,
The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner, Upon Julia's Clothes, Abou Ben Adem.
Many more that that, but can't think of them right now.

hey, just a quick note on a GREAT book of poetry... it's called "The Painted Bed" by Donald Hall. really good stuff. a little sad and sweet. about loss and love. (by the way... Loreena McKennit is amazing, she's in my cd player right now. she's been a fav of mine for ages!)

A poem I've always enjoyed is Remember by Christina Rossetti. You can find it here... http://celtic.benderweb.net/cr/cr21.html
