Anyone who was FINSHED the new Harry Potter I would like to hear what you think of it. I am just ticked that its probably not going to be another 3 years until the next one comes out. No ending what so ever. O yes and there are SPOILERS in here so you people who yell at me for putting them in here die. I already wrote it on the title.

There reasonable books nice light reading kind of stuff you want to read when you don't want to think. Hence the mass appeal.

I must say I agree with most of your criticism. I read Harry Potter for two major reasons. I am compulsive and I read the first book and was "forced" to finish the rest of the series. Two, I just like to know what other people are talking about and at school (when it starts) I predict people will be talking about it (I will be a sophomore in high school). I feel obliged to prove them wrong or point out wrong perceptions. Also a complaint I have is that Harry Potter really has little depth. I mean I feel like I get more out of all of the horrible MTV shows. At least they help me realize that humans have reached a despicable state all over the globe. Harry Potter offers nothing but a very simple story.
Now the problem that I see with many of your comments. You talk about this book in a negative matter but it seems to me like you are qualified to say such things. You didn’t read the book. If you don’t see the error in that I encourage you to keep on making fun of the book. I hope you all have a dandy Sunday.

i'll be the odd one out. i liked the books, although i wasn't impressed with the fifth. true they are very light and easy reading, but i found them interesting. i'll continue reading them, not because i started them but because i want to see what happens. the thing to remember when reading these books is that they are written for child, not adults. i was shocked when snape killed dumbledore but i never thought snape had given up voledmort's side. it was still a bit of a shock. as was the idea that dumbledore could be killed that easily and that harry and ron and heremoine would not be returning to hogworts for their final year of school. i'm very interested to see how the story ends.

I too read the first one in the sixth grade and am forced to finish the series or ill go crazy. I didnt care that Dumbledore died and and Snape is a bad guy. We all guessed that would happen after reading book one. I liked how Harry got to drink with his teachers lol.

Yeah Im gonna join animalaia, I'm not even a closet Harry P fan.
YES it is easy reading, but we all need some of that now and again. plus I find it interesting the way rowling has devised the plot lines and characters. HP are just fun.lo
