If I were to write a book, it would be for teenage girls and about teenage girls finding their own identity and embracing who they really are, not who society wants them to be. I think a lot of our young people today get so caught up in trying to be 'popular' that they lose sight of themselves and there aren't enough good role models to set them straight.

That sounds great Tuscany. It would be perfect for today's society.

Thanks Webbratz! I like your idea of a 'Princess Diaries' themed book. I think those are great reads for teenage girls, and they could use some more.

That really would be a good thing. I know what you mean too. I spend a lot of my time just trying to help these kids out. Trying to help them see that they don't have to be like everyone else, but society ways down on you. Even on the Adults. Perhaps one good book, with some inspiring words could change their perception of popularity.

Thanks Tuscany!!
Maybe I should get started right now... LOL! no. I think I need to learn how to spell better and more specific English words. Not boring stuff like mad and happy you know. I should finish at least grade 10. Yeah. That might be helpful.

Start what you finish and do the editing later. You might lose interest in doing it later on in life, or even by next year. So if I were you, I would start it. I started writing my book when I was 12 and now I'm 17. Yeah, I've had to go back and edit some things. Currently, I'm rewriting parts of the first four chapters, but I still think it has been worth the 5 years I've put into it, even if my spelling wasn't the greatest when I was 12. You can always go back and change it. Just an idea. When an idea comes about I usually don't let it stray to far away.

I was thinking of writing a book about duality. The conflict of innocence and experience and how ideals fade when faced with reality. It's something like a future anarchist revolution and the individual thoughts and dreams of random participants in it, as it rises, reaches its summit and is then crushed by the reactionist army.

If I were to write a book, I would probably write my "life story" Not as an autobiography though, itd' just be a biography about myself but with different characters and names, the reason I'd od this is that I want to let off my chest a lot of stuff that have been there since the day I was born but havent been able ot do so becasue I dont feel very comfortable talking about my problems infront of other people

Mira Hanna, I know exactly what u mean! there's a book I'm reading and the main character is a writer where she says that anyone she doesn't want to deal with anymore in real life, she kills in a book!

What a way to let off steam eh? Well, do what ye will as long as it harm none. I guess it's about the least harmfull way of getting your emotions out right?
My book has real people in it that I have met through out my life, and some who are still in it. I play the main character, and I use both my names in the story. The book itself will be half truth and half fiction. I plan to add in real stories of what has happened to I and my friends.
