what would it be about?

I think I'd like to write my vision of the perfect after-life. Reunions, time-travel (as far as viewing past events on earth), meeting people from the past (kind of like Farmer's Riverworld Series, there), some conflict but that part would be minimal and maybe at the level of a discussion group--Hmmm, afterlife as a discussion group...I like this, but not all day, every day.

I never really thought of writing a whole book cuz when I write it's just random thoughts I have at that moment, or I a few short stories. hmmm, how abt putting them together, that would make a good book. it's just mostly things I learn from life, kind of like a diary, except it's a generalized one...

If I were to write a book it would probably be like a girly book. Teenage girls, their problems etc. Typical book, I know. But I love reading those kind so why not write about something I would like to read.
And do something like the Princess Diaries and have diary entries to tell the story. I always liked that too.

rnassar_7 that kind of reminds me of Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Lots of inspiring stories put together to make the book.

i amcurrently slowly but surly writing something right now. it is so fantacy its not even funny. its about an unwanted princess that is ignored because she is not the anticipated son.. while thinking about her self in her favorite hiding place she stumbles upon something and is rescued by a starnger who declares that, "even she does not relize the power she wields! leave her be!" any way you can imagine that it quite the little romance/fantacy novel that is growing ever so popular with the readers throughout. it is called "fearie magic" if any one sees it out there in a million years i would like to get feed back. i have only written about 8 pages in 8 font. not a novel yet! heheh

That sounds like a really great book!! Like something I'd read. I'd like to see it out in the bookstores years from now. I'd even line up to get it autographed! That would be cool.

What's "interdisciplinear"?
All I found was "interdisciplinary - 1) Of, relating to, or involving two or more academic disciplines that are usually considered distinct. 2) Drawing from or characterized by participation of two or more fields of study."

Ohhh yeah. Ditto Rana's question too about the researches. What's that about?

Well, most of you already know that I'm writing a book. I've written about 8 chapters in 5 years, so you can see how slow it's going. I only have little over a hundred pages done. The story itself will probably turn into a series with the way I'm going. For those that don't know about my book, go check it out in the World War 3 forum. I really don't want to give the whole description here. If you want make some comments in the forum too.

Thanks!

Raven

interdisciplinary - right word ! thanks ! :D
" involving two or more academic disciplines that are usually considered distinct" i meaned. i have some kind of opinions about sociology and social psychology theories and also phenomenologie and pragmatics. and i wrote some kind of articles.
now i plan to re-orgainise these articles this summer. then i want to send some of them to some newspapers in my country, but before that i have to take copy-right of them. tis will be a start for me. i want to try my chance.
anyway, i'm interesting in the theories and social control in everyday life. also litterature might be a resource for prove my hypotheisis. but there is some problems about metodologie of these studies, i'm thinking over it.
i think sociologie isnt enough to explain the backround of human behavior/attitudues, but i dont want to seperate from it too.
the researches is about social control mecanism on human behavior (as i said before), i'll study on sociology of art in this subject, i'm trying to show "all behaviors comes from learning and we can control human values". we allknow hypotechically but it is "very" difficult to proof it scientifically. so i want to try.
so before i die, i want to write all my opinions, one day in future :D

as arthur schnitzler says "no dream is ever just a dream" :D

Last year I took a class in Sociology. I found it very interesting. I've thought many times about either becoming a sociologist or a councelor. Somewhere in the areas of either Psycology or sociology. It would take about six years of college to become a psycologist though, and I don't know if I want to do that. So I might just stick to being an Environmental Scientist or Archaeologist. My other two dream jobs.
