Um, lemme just give you an idea of the mood of reading I may be in, or what you may infer from it. Over the past couple of months, I've read about 6-7 books, ranging from Murakami (Hardboiled wonderland and the End of the world - a masterpiece of fantasy, introspection and action), Neil Gaiman (Neverwhere), Kenneth Anderson who writes jungle adventure stories mostly about tigers...basically they've covered a lot of topics.
I'm wondering what to pick up now. My choices include The Wheel of Time series (Raven, are you listening?) since I do want to read sth in the series genre; Mark Twain's short stories, Updike's Rabbit Run or some e-book I may find interesting.
Anybody, any recommendations?
Awaiting.

I think that you should look into Twilight. It is the first of three trilogies. This book is AMAZING. I swear the day I got the book I stayed up until 5 in the morning reading it. I did not put it down. It's about a girl that falls in love with a vampire. I know the description sounds wierd but it really is really good. If you want to go with a book that is more classical try Wuthering Heights. It's also an amazing book.

I'm reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky and I will read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

I'm currently reading Madame Bovary. Some of the lines are just treat to your senses. The insight of the author into the woman's psyche is unsurpassed. Every few pages leave you with profound bewilderment and triggers somewhere deep inside you a feeling which is a mixture of pain and sympathy 'Madame Bovary'. Its a must read!
