David G. Myers has nice books, I recommend you to read the one called "Psychology".
http://www.davidmyers.org/

And besides, be sure to read about Rosenthal's Expectation Effect if you haven't yet, for example here:

And now.. can you tell me some nice things from psychology you know/have read about? Thanks in advance ;)

i think fşrstly you must start to learn differences between the main point of views and tecniques in psychology. so an introduciton book can be usefull. i think before to learn rosenthal you must read about introduction, "self-fulfilling prophecy", perception, motivation, attitudes, etc.

Dear Cervantes, i highly recommend a very well known russian author who is appreciated as a thorough observer of the human psyche and personality... Fyodor Dostoevsky, whom you can find right here on this web page, at http://www.literaturepage.com/authors/F ... evsky.html

So...enjoy your reading...and search any reviews, articles or books that have been written about his work. I personally advice you to look into psychoanalysis, as you may learn many interesting ideas, explained from a psychologist's point of view.

Regards, Roxana.

dostoyevsky is good idea, ut i am not agree with roxanna about psycholoanalyses. there are many deficits and contraditories in it.
