i just wrote a poem, and im feeling very emotional about it.
i just wanted to get it out there fast.
Did you ever wonder, while looking through, the looking glass, of colourless hue.
That maybe someone’s looking back, and seeing you, in vanity’s grasp.
You think you see beyond the back, and into through the looking glass.
You see a world of lust and fake, a reality, of broken faith.
Did you consider, that maybe when, the looking glass is backed with lead.
You’re only looking at yourself, what worlds can you see by then?
There Are Others, looking back, through the looking glass my friend.
They see you, you don’t see them, and wonder you why can’t I bend.
Well news to you, you’ll love to hear, you’re bended more than love and fear.
You’re stretched apart, into your years, you throw your hopes and dreams and tears.
But did you wonder, oh did you think, that reality is not so simple a thing.
That maybe you’re through the looking glass, that one way mirror you cannot grasp.
Why do they watch you and not you them? Does your warped reality not break and bend?
It is you who is through the looking glass,
It is you who cannot see or comprehend.
They are in your so called reality,
While you remain in your falsity.
So next time you take a look in your mirror, and wonder why you can’t see clearer.
Remember that it is you who is blurry, not your mirror all scratched and scurried.
You see but what you are by sight, expecting more would not be right.
So when you touch that clear dark mirror, and feel the bumps of reality clearer.
Wonder why you do not change, and wonder why you live in pain.
Wonder why you cannot move, and wonder why you live to lose.
Wonder why you refuse to live, in this reality of hurt and sin.
One cannot change the state, of moral fibres laced with hate.
But you can, if you try, change the look of glass from eyes.
Deceived are you, if you cannot see, how to fix your moral plea.
Reach through the solid, see through the cracks,
And into the abyss, relax.
Feel the light of true reality, embrace the warmth of what you cannot see.
Back through the looking glass you shall flow, and into real shall you go.
Do not look back from whence you came, you do not need the hurt or shame.
Only remember what you know is true,
Your life is yours,
As yours is you.
