I don't believe I've yet read the best book ever written, that is if there is only one. However, one of my personal favorites is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Another book that I thought told an extraordinary story--although no one has yet mentioned it--is The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Though the language can be difficult to get through, it's still a wonderful story.

I also worship Enders Game which is great if you love to look at the way people think. Ayn Rands books are philosophy in fiction so if you like her philosophy you will like her books. I recommend The Anthem for a quick Ayn Rand read if you are unfamilar with her. It is only about 100 pages at most. Best book ever though is just molded by past experiances. The better you can relate to a book the more you will enjoy it so its all in your mind.[/quote]

I would have to say "Stop Pretending" by Sonya Sones is one of my favorite books. It is because I could relate to the point of view that the author took,since I went through a simular experence. Also it is in poetry form so it makes it a book i can read at any one given moment. I've read so many times that I stopped counting. I really recommend it anyone and everyone.

I would vote that the Best book ever is The Purpose Driven which is really interesting.
