johnny tremain? anybody heard of it? it's the best! (ester forbes...American historical fiction)

I read that about two years ago, and I actually did not enjoy it.
I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it, in fact! How odd.

I picked up Johnny Termain and could not put it down it was so good.

I read Johnny Tremain about four years ago in middle school, and don't remember most of what it was about. I do remember though that I didn't like it much because I was continually frustrated with that girl that I guess Johnny had a crush on or something, I think she was his cousin, I'm not sure, but that just bugged me, and I think I found it quite boring (well now that I think about it, if I can't remember anything about it I must have found it boring!) But then again, I was in middle school, so perhaps if i read it now I might think differently, who knows......
