My favorites at the moment are Rainier Maria Rilke, T.S. Eliot, Federico Garcia Lorca, and Rumi.

I hardly ever read poetry. But I'd reccomend Baudelaire. There is a book called A rebours (Against the Grain-J.K Huysmans) that has alot of reccomendations for poets in it. Basically the majority being reccomended are morose, but that is the best type of poetry sometimes. I have the pages marked where he discussed poets; I will try and get some names and post them.

I love Deborah Garrison and Dorothy Parker. They're both very whimsically cute, funny and poignant.

I just picked up Amy Gerstler's "Ghost Girl" from Pengun yesterday evening, and though only a few pages into it, thus far I must say I do quite enjoy it.
