me, nothing
you, everything
but yet you love me with passion
why?

i can see your love for me in your eyes,
yet the pain in your voice,
a longing , not for me,
a lost love, past hurt

im not jealous, i long to know about her
tell me? i want to help you, know her spirit
we are not the same , her and i
she was strong, fought for life, i am but weakness for the darkness

you miss her , feel her around you , i know, understand
i wish i could take away this pain in your heart, soul,
put your heart back together, fill in the missing pieces of you,
bring her back to you, my gift of true,selfless love

i cannot bring her back, but i pray the angels are loving her, just as you do
she knows your my everything,dreams and love, always
i promise to stay by your side, wil never leave you, if i can
as long as you love me, i will be your saviour, as you are mine

we both hurt from our dark pasts
different circumstances, but our pain just as strong
we need each other, though i hate to admit,
me, nothing - you everything, but hearts entwined, forever



this is my first poem i have written in ages about my love
