Hi all at Quotations and Literature Page Forum!
I'm new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself a little. My name is Lyndsay and I am interested in the Arts, especially Books and Literature so I was pleased when I came across this discussion group. I particularly like Gothic Literature, classical plays and playwrights, (Shakespeare, Marlowe, Greek tragedy and comedy), 19th and 20th century literature and some more recent modern novels. Does anyone know of any decent websites for literature?

Welcome Lyndsay!
I think if you were to ask the owners of this site, they'd tell you to check the link to The Literature Page in the bottom left. And, it's not too bad.

Welcome to the Forums, Lyndsay and Warnner-Iain.
Warnner-Iain, if you go to the "Search" in the left hand side dark blue list, you will get to an excellent search site, just type "Friendship" in and choose from all the various kinds of quote sources and you will get lots of friendship quotes for a start. But hopefully other people will post some more for you.
Here is one of my favourites:
In the sweetness of friendship, let there be laughter and the sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.
Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)
